PLUMB · drop each floor true

Something broken, confusing, or worth saying? Email support@bendigogames.com and you will get a reply. It helps to include your phone model, its iOS version, and the version shown in the App Store.

Playing

How do I play? A slab slides across the top of your tower. Tap anywhere to drop it. Whatever hangs past the floor below is sliced off, and the next slab is only as wide as what stayed on.

What is a perfect? A slab lined up exactly with the floor below. Land three perfects in a row and each one after that wins a little width back.

What ends a run? Missing the tower completely. A slab that would have hung entirely off the edge falls, and the run is over.

The slabs started coming from the other side. From floor 12 they come from both sides, so watch which way the next one is travelling.

Does it keep getting faster? Only up to a point. The pace rises as you climb, then holds at a speed a person can keep up for a long run. When a slab gets very narrow it slows down and starts further out, so a small slab is never both fast and close. The game is about holding your focus, not about reflexes.

Can I pause? Leave the app or tap pause and the slab waits. When you come back, the run picks up on the floor you were on.

The city

How do I change the time of day? On the title screen, drag the sky sideways to move the sun (or the moon). The hour you choose is kept, and the day keeps moving from there while you play.

I saw something odd in a window. You did. The city has dozens of small, rare moments: people crossing lit windows, lights switched off, a plane overhead, and a few stranger ones higher up. Most runs show you only a few. Keep climbing.

Scores and progress

Where is the leaderboard? On the title screen. In this version the leaderboard is kept on your phone: it ranks your own runs, and nothing is sent anywhere.

What is the shape beside my best runs? The outline of the tower that run built, floor by floor.

Can I change my player name? Yes, in Settings. It is checked against a list of offensive words. It stays on your phone.

I deleted the app. Is my progress gone? Yes, sorry. Your stats, bests and achievements live only on your phone, so deleting the app deletes them, and there is no copy anywhere for us to restore. Your phone's own backup (iCloud or a computer) may bring them back if you restore the whole phone from it.

Does it need the internet? No. PLUMB plays fully offline.

Sound and comfort

There's no sound. Check the Sound switch in Settings, then the phone's volume.

Can I turn off vibration or motion? Yes: Haptics and Reduce motion are both in Settings.

Privacy

PLUMB collects nothing about you. The details are in the privacy policy.
